Deputy Governor Canan Hançer Baştürk, Social Assistance and Solidarity Foundation Director Ferhan Sarıcaoğlu, and Directorate of Family and Social Services Head of Protective and Preventive Services, Hazal Cenik Delen, attended the program organized by the Samsun Provincial Directorate of Family and Social Services.
In the program, Research Assistant Merve İbrahimoğlu from the Social Work Department of Ondokuz Mayıs University delivered a training session in which children's rights and responsibilities were explained through drama techniques, ensuring active participation of the children. During the training, the concept of a “Child-Friendly City” was discussed, and children were encouraged to write their suggestions in a child-friendly city notebook designed to promote the realization of their right to participation.
While children shared the rights and responsibilities they had learned, a guitar performance was offered to provide a relaxing atmosphere for the students and children attending the event, and to inspire children through the presence of professionals.
Within the scope of the event, children also had the opportunity to express their dreams and socialize by coloring their own worlds on bags prepared with the theme “Green World, Green Future.”
